This beautifully coloured pattern was designed by one of Shetland's best knitters. It incorporates several well-known, traditional patterns, but the colours, although based on the old Fair Isle colours, are contemporary. As in many older designs, none of the patterns is repeated, and the way in which the colours are blended is an indication of the years of experience which go into creating such a wonderful sample of the knitters' craft. Florence's pattern is also available in rich seascape colours of emerald and aquamarine (as seen below).
